Based on the books of best-selling author David Baldacci, King & Maxwell stars Jon Tenney (The Closer) and Rebecca Romijn (X-Men, Ugly Betty) as private investigators Sean King and Michelle Maxwell. Both are former Secret Service agents, who now use their razor-sharp skills to outsmart the bad guys and go beyond conventional law enforcement.
Maxwell is a former Olympic athlete who uses her brains, beauty and insider connections to solve challenging cases. King's career in the Secret Service ended when the presidential candidate he was assigned to protect was assassinated, sending him on a downward spiral. Trying to put his life back together, King has added a law degree to his arsenal of skills, allowing him to navigate the system in ways a typical private investigator never could.
Along the way, King and Maxwell clash over everything, from her messy car to his love of wine over beer, but their chemistry is undeniable.
