The Protector - new and exclusive to Alibi - centres on divorced mother Gloria Sheppard (Ally Walker), who juggles her demanding personal and professional life as an intuitive LAPD homicide detective with raising her two boys. Things are complicated by her live-in, troubled brother Davey (Chris Payne Gilbert), while she's aided in her detective work by Michelle (Tisha Campbell-Martin) and Ramon (Terrell Tilford). There's plenty of murder and mayhem, but can Gloria keep it all together?
