But first there is a bit of pressing work to do! Murdoch has been wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of a burlesque dancer, Julia has been kidnapped, Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) is missing, Constables Jackson and Crabtree look like they've been killed, and Station House Four has fallen under the thumb of a corrupt city councillor. Guest starring in this episode is former New Tricks and EastEnders returnee, Tamzin Outhwaite.

Series 11 will also see Inspector Thomas Brackenreid deal with the newest additions to the constabulary at Station House Four when eccentric Detective Llewellyn Watts (Daniel Maslany,) and Brackenreid's eldest son John (Charles Vandervaart) joins the force.

As this goes on, we will also see affairs of the heart play out for both Constable George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) and Constable Henry Higgins (Lachlan Murdoch).

And Murdoch wouldn't be Murdoch without a few historical figures dropping by! This series sees entertainer Al Jolson, pioneering physician Dr William Osler, author and political activist Helen Keller and American President Teddy Roosevelt make appearances.
