About Sonja Sohn

Born in Virginia, Sonja Sohn first came to wide industry attention in Slam, the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner which she starred in and co-wrote. Sohn is best known for her role as Detective Kima Greggs on the hit drama The Wire. Sonja also appeared in Martin Scorsese's Bringing out the Dead and John Singleton's Shaft, before landing the role of Kima Greggs in the Emmy-nominated series, The Wire.
