If you like your murder mysteries served up with sun, sea and sand, you’ve come to the right place - the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Marie to be precise. It may be a tropical paradise but it’s not short on some puzzling crimes and somebody’s got to solve them. Cue a succession of awkward British detectives, all fishes-out-of-water in this heat-soaked tourist resort. In S1 and 2 we had the uptight but brilliant detective Richard Poole (Ben Miller), followed by eccentric London DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) in S3-6 and, most recently, unassuming Irish copper Jack Mooney (Ardal O'Hanlon).
