Episode 1 - Abducted - Part 1
Megan returns to work months after Peter's death and she is surprised by a man from her past. Tommy Sullivan is the new detective assigned to her case and Megan, along with Tommy's rookie partner, Adam Schaeffer, must stop a serial killer whose victims are young war veterans. As she learns more about the crime, the stakes rise when she gets a call from the killer who is holding her teenage daughter, Lacey, hostage.

Episode 2 - Abducted - Part 2
Megan learns why a serial killer targeted war veterans and how one of their prime suspects figures in the case. But the killer has kidnapped Megan's daughter and is making sure that, now that Megan has cracked the case, she cannot reveal the answers to her team or the police while Lacey's life hangs in the balance. Meanwhile, Kate comes under fire with District Attorney Dan Russell.

Episode 3 - Breakout
An inmate violently escapes from a prison transport van and becomes a dangerous fugitive on the run in Philadelphia. Soon another man turns up dead - who's revealed to be a witness in the escaped prisoner's murder trial. Megan must continue to search for the truth in the original case when the accused murderer shows up and pleads with her that he is innocent and being framed.

Episode 4 - Mob Mentality
When the son of a New York mob boss is found shot to death in an alley, Tommy, Adam and Megan investigate, only to be shot at themselves. Back in the morgue, the mobster threatens that he will make sure whoever killed his son won't live to see another sunrise. When an early suspect is gunned down, Megan and her team realize they have to solve the case before more bodies pile up.

Episode 5 - An Eye for an Eye
Megan and Tommy must solve two murders that appear to be the work of vigilante killer. After Megan questions Trent Marsh, the grief counselor for one of the victim's parents, she decides to take him up on his offer of counseling her on her own issues about her father's suicide. But Megan is shocked by what she finds in his waiting room.

Episode 6 - Fallen Angel
Kate falls for a handsome and mysterious man named Sergei at a political event. However, he may not be the man of her dreams when she finds out about a girl with connections to a Russian human trafficking ring is murdered near the hotel where Sergei is staying. Is it a coincidence or is he involved?

Episode 7 - Skin and Bones
Megan and Tommy investigate the savage murder of a young woman, which leads them to her neighbour, who bites Tommy. When another rabies fatality comes in without any bite marks, Kate calls in the new health commissioner, Dr. Charles Stafford (Luke Perry), to help Megan uncover the truth. Could it really be zombies, as some of her colleagues suspect?

Episode 8 - Doubting Tommy
Jason Banning is beaten to death with a baseball bat by an unidentified figure and Megan and Tommy have to testify in court against his business partner.
The next day, Megan arrives at the scene of a young woman's murder and finds Tommy covered in blood. As evidence piles up against Tommy, Megan tries to ignore her doubts.

Episode 9 - Disappearing Act
A wealthy fund manager, on trial for defrauding investors out of a billion dollars, is kidnapped after leaving the courthouse. Outside the courthouse a female protestor is run down by the getaway car, and her autopsy provides surprising clues.
Elsewhere, Megan gets closer to discovering the truth about her father.

Episode 10 - Committed
A schizophrenic teenage girl at a mental institution is found murdered. When Megan and Tommy interview a young patient named Darby, who seems extremely sane and lucid, she tells them that she saw the killer climb down from a heating vent in the ceiling, but most shocking of all - he meant to kill her, not the actual victim. Could the killer be Dr. Malcolm, the ward director, who is obstructing their investigation?

Episode 11 - Dark City
Tommy goes along with Megan to her father's exhumation, which only yields more mysteries to what she has always been told was his suicide. Megan's mother, Joan, suggests Megan look into her late husband's patient files, which may be connected to his death - and that of one of his patients, too.

Episode 12 - Breakout
Robert Riley, an inmate convicted of murdering his lover, escapes from prison. Megan must dig deeper into the original case.
Suspicion begins to fall on Emmett Harrington (Alan Dale), a well-to-do businessman who was married to the original murder victim, when evidence surfaces that two witnesses in the Riley trial received six-figure sums from Harrington's Cayman Islands account. When Megan gets the body of Harrington's former spouse exhumed, Kate finds something that Megan missed during the original autopsy.

Episode 13 - Daddy Issues
Tommy goes along with Megan to her father's exhumation, which only yields more questions. Megan later finds a key that unlocks a secret compartment in her father's old study that holds a missing medical file for a young woman named Lindsay Pratt.
After finding some crucial evidence, Megan uncovers the truth about what happened, but has it put her own life at risk?
